We get asked lots of questions - so here goes:

- When will you be open?

Tough to nail down - but I think we are looking at around 3 weeks.

- Are you a restaurant?

We get this a lot and we understand the excitement. We are NOT a restaurant. We will have some food, but we are not a gastro pub. We will be selling pies and pasties to eat at the pub or to pick up and go.

- Will there be table service?

No - we are a truly authentic old school country pub. We encourage people to come in and head to the bar. Find a place to hang out and come back to the bar when it’s your round! Think of it like a coffee shop - but for adult beverages!

- Is the beer going to be warm?

This always makes me smile. We have invested a lot into making sure we serve beers at the ideal temperature. Lagers and keg beers will be served cold. Guinness is cool at around 42 and cask ales are served at a cellar temperature of 50. This is the optimal temperature to enjoy each type of beer. We encourage those not familiar to try them all!

- Will you show sports?

We will be showing Premier League, Champions League, Rugby and any other British sports. In the evenings the TVs will be off so we can enjoy the social side of pubs. We WILL open early for those 730am games (if it’s a big enough game). We will not be showing other sports.

- Will you have afternoon tea?

Of course!

- How about Sunday Roast?

This is on the radar, but not initially. I think this will likely begin in the fall. We want to get our feet under us first.

- Will there be darts and pool?

Darts yes, but not really enough room for a pool table.
